Telecom ABC - W
A wireless personal area network (WPAN) is an ad-hoc network centered around a person or object. The person or object may be either stationary or in motion. A WPAN is typically used for the connection between devices which are carried by a person. E.g. the connection between a mobile phone and a headset. There are different radio technologies that can be used for the creation of a WPAN such as Bluetooth, Near Field Communication (NFC), WiBree and WiMedia UWB.
